Craig Mundie is a technology advisor working at the
intersection of innovation, policy, and societal impact.
After more than two decades at Microsoft, where he served as Chief Technical Officer, Chief Research & Strategy Officer, and Senior Advisor to the CEO, he now consults for organizations and governments on emerging tech, including AI, quantum computing, cybersecurity, and fusion energy.
Craig has also advised the U.S. government on science and technology issues, including work with multiple administrations through the National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee and the President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology.
He is co-author of Genesis: Artificial Intelligence, Hope, and the Human Spirit with Eric Schmidt and the late Henry Kissinger.
Craig also co-chairs a Track II dialogue with China on artificial intelligence.
